Terms of Use

Effective October 4, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Koivuniemi LLC, a Colorado company (“we”), for the Skiisu app and skiisu.com. By using Skiisu you agree to them. Your license to the app itself is Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement; these terms add to it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Who can use Skiisu

Skiisu is offered in the United States. You must be at least 13 to use it, and if you are under 18 you need a parent or guardian’s permission.

What Skiisu is

Skiisu suggests where to ski and how to ski the day, using weather forecasts, snow and operating reports, terrain data and what you tell it about yourself. Those sources can be wrong, late or incomplete, and conditions on a mountain change faster than any report, so Skiisu can be wrong.

You decide what you ski. Skiing involves risks that no app can remove. Follow the resort’s signs, closures and ski patrol, and ski within your ability. Skiisu is a guide, not an instruction.

Your subscription

Your account

You sign in with Apple, and your subscription is tied to that account. You can delete your account in the app at any time, as described in the Privacy Policy. Deleting your account doesn’t cancel your subscription.

Using Skiisu fairly

Use Skiisu for your own skiing. Don’t copy, scrape or resell its content or data, try to get around the subscription, interfere with the service, or reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it. We may suspend or end access for anyone who does.

Data and names that belong to others

Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors. Weather data comes in part from the U.S. National Weather Service. Resort, lift and trail names belong to their owners. Skiisu is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any resort.

Changes to Skiisu

We keep working on Skiisu, so its features, content and the mountains it covers will change. The app shows which mountains it currently covers. We may change, suspend or stop offering any part of Skiisu. If we stop offering Skiisu entirely, we’ll give you reasonable notice and stop renewals.

Disclaimers

Skiisu is provided “as is.” To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties beyond those in these terms, including any warranty that its information is accurate, current or complete, or that the app will always be available or work without interruption.

Limit on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for injury or loss that results from decisions you make on the mountain. Our total liability for any claim about Skiisu is limited to what you paid for Skiisu in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any dispute will be decided in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Skiisu changes. We’ll post the new version here with its effective date, and if a change is significant, we’ll let you know in the app or by another reasonable means. Continuing to use Skiisu after a change means you accept the new terms.

The whole agreement

These terms, the Privacy Policy and Apple’s license agreement are the whole agreement between you and us about Skiisu. If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.
